This Is Fifty-Three, day 19

With yesterday being Sneezefest here in Kevinland, I did not even attempt to work on anything. I generated so much laundry from all the sneezing that it’s almost embarrassing.

That led to some major vacuuming today—I’m talking about taking out area rugs, moving furniture, all that. Among other things, I found the Diana camera I bought at a yard sale five years ago, and a wooden box that’s almost perfect for keeping the books that are currently in my to-read pile.

But enough of what could be a huge digression if I don’t cut it off here. While taking a break from all the vacuuming and moving furniture, I played around a little bit with layout stuff. Continue reading

Sneezefest (a poem)

Yesterday was a day of constant sneezing, despite a low pollen count. I can’t tell you how many t-shirts, handkerchiefs, and hand towels I went through during the day—I totally lost count. It made for a weird night’s sleep, too, turning it into more of a series of naps. Fortunately, it seems to have passed—for now.

This Is Fifty-Three, day 18

I feel like I lost a bit of momentum today, even though I worked most of the afternoon and made some progress. I think the problem I’m running into is that I want this section to be adventurous, and even ‘weird’, but not for the sake of weirdness alone.
