Here I use the prompt provided by poet (and bookstore owner) Chris Jarmick on his blog, POETRYisEVERYTHING.
I’m never a fan of this type of prompt (anagrams), but I did it anyway.

National Poetry Writing Month 2018, Day 4
The prompt from Napowrimo.net for Day 4 is to write about something abstract using ‘relentlessly abstract nouns.’ The result of my stab at this is one of the stranger poems I have ever written—and, quite possibly, one of my more successful attempts at ‘show, not tell’.
National Poetry Writing Month 2017, Day 4
My fourth poem for National Poetry Writing Month combines the prompt from Napowrimo.net, which is to write a poem ‘with a word or idea or line it isn’t expressing directly’, with the prompt from the NaPoWriMo Facebook page, which is to ‘make use of Color [sic] as your theme.’ [Update: I moved the I have no need… stanza because it was bugging me.
