I feel like I lost a bit of momentum today, even though I worked most of the afternoon and made some progress. I think the problem I’m running into is that I want this section to be adventurous, and even ‘weird’, but not for the sake of weirdness alone. ART 53, day 17

This Is Fifty-Three, day 17

It occurred to me late last night that this veritable extravaganza of a book I am working on could turn out to be quite expensive. All the photos and color and bleeds I want will require better paper, which will mean choosing the ‘premium’ option (basically, what you’d expect from a book of photography) when it comes to actually getting the thing printed, thus adding to the cost.

At this point, that means I am working on a book that I may not be able to afford to produce. Grrr… Continue reading
