My Favorite Hour
Today’s writing prompt: What is your favorite hour of the day?
Lots of people prefer one part of the day over others. Some like the early morning, before everybody else is up, because it’s a quieter, more relaxing atmosphere. Some people are night owls, whether it’s because they enjoy partaking of the night life, or because—like early morning—it’s a quieter, more relaxing atmosphere. Some folks like midday, when they can be outside to enjoy the warmth of the sunlight.
I like different times of the day for different reasons—for example, the ones I mentioned above. But my favorite time of the day is not a particular part of the day, or even a specific hour. Continue reading
