My day 21 poem for National Poetry Writing Month uses the prompt from Napowrimo.net—to write a poem that ‘incorporates overheard speech.’ I actually have written several such poems lately—including my Day 20 poem (which used my dropbox list of recent files as the source for the title), my Day 18 poem (which incorporated an invented word from 1989 or 1990), and another poem written three days ago that ends with a quote from Pulp Fiction.
