Generally, I don’t focus on statistics or popularity, but I thought this was worth sharing:

I did not realize until just a moment ago that it is already past midnight. That’s because I have started on The Lilac Years at last, doing the copy-and-paste from my Word documents into InDesign, and working on the basic layout.
Below are screenshots of a few of the spreads. So far, the main drawback to putting the titles at the bottom of the page is that longer titles are a bit troublesome. What I have been doing is to keep the titles their full size (Clarendon 13/15) as long as they fit within two lines; once they go to three, I fit what makes sense on the first line, then make the rest of the title smaller (8/11) so that it fits on the second line.
Of course, if I scrap this particular iteration, I won’t have to worry about any of that—but I’m going to place all the poems in InDesign first. Then the fun can begin.
Stay tuned!

It is still a work in progress, but my website (https://www.kevinjoconner.com/) is back online. I had taken it down during the summer, after a scan indicated the presence of malware. Attempts to restore from backups failed, and I wasn’t up to messing around with it, so I made the choice to keep it offline for the time being.
But now it’s back. Basic—information about a few of the books, plus an About page—but back. You can get to it using the link in this post, or the the link in the navigation menu at the top of the page.

Production on ‘Dear Thursday…’ is under way. After first preparing the Word file for the e-book version, I copied the contents into InDesign, then generated the interior PDF, which I have uploaded to IngramSpark (along with the cover, which you can see below) to start the process.
My target date for publication is November 27th—which will be ‘Cyber Monday’ this year. The pertinent information appears below.
The print edition of 8: Eight-word Poems is now officially available! I do not have any copies myself yet, but the book is available for ordering on Amazon and Barnes & Noble—and Barnes & Noble is still discounting it at $13.86. The links appear below…
I may not have a poem to post today—but I did make this:
