The street lamp has just flickered on (a poem)

The first decent poem I have written for a few days..

…si c’est bon

Her silhouette
at the open window

Letters reversed in the mirror
I cannot send them like this

The promenade sentimentale
of a blue French afternoon
mixes with the grey of a sky waiting to rain

I have a light on
in the corner

I see its reflection on the screen

Un désespoir agréable…
