Offering my opinion (a poem)

I saw a photo, and this is what I felt.

That grey-silver stripe
doesn’t tell me anything

I just know I like it

It makes me feel you’re real
or have that certain sense of style

It doesn’t say anything about me
I’ll leave that to you

I may be who you think I am
or I may not

It’s not up to me

I’m not leaving it up to you
to avoid anything I shouldn’t

I know, I’ve said too much
let this moment get too awkward

I’m trying to feel what I feel
without denying anything

I don’t know if I like it

I just know it’s real
