I know what it looks like now (a poem)

Memories and behaviors operate on their own cycles.

a butoh mask
eyes closed
in golden light
heat fading in degrees
curtains drawn in silence

absence turned into ash

a total collapsing—
distance into theory
routine into stasis

archives come into relief
but in the end providing none

a search for the one thing
that will save me

aimlessness is perfectly normal
