The usual topics of conversation (a poem)

Thinking about this the last few days…

They know
they’ll never be called into service

So they can afford
to be relentless

They swarm
they perform
they parade
they preen
they strut
they tease
they tangle
they galavant
they taunt

They feel
no remorse

They leave that
to me
