How much does a pound of nothing weigh? (a poem)

Written last night during a bout of drowsiness combined with a mild headache…

The drowse storms in
not unexpectedly
but without warning

The ache radiating
from the base of my neck
has subsided—
also without warning

Some people document such things
I guess I am one of them
