Sometimes
it takes me
a few minutes
to realize
I’ve already seen
this episode

Then I can’t
figure out why
it took me
so long
since I just saw it
last week

I want to close my eyes at night
then wake up to find you here

It’s a dream I had once

I never lost it
but I’ve been awake
for too long
to remember
what it was like
the next morning
