I wrote a poem that didn’t feel all that interesting. I stripped away everything but what I thought were the key words in each line, and got this:

Wednesday, 6 AM, dark

News of the day
a thousand lies
escalation

Hesitant

Truth
column inches
love

Quit
unrealistic
