Today I posted my 365th letter to the days of the week. Yes, I now have a full year’s worth of entries in that series.
It started on October 14th of last year, when, after a crappy Monday, I wrote:
Dear Monday,
We really must talk.
Love,
Kevin
I posted a link to the post on Facebook; the next day, one of my friends commented that ‘Tuesday [was] feeling left out.’ So, I then posted:
Dear Tuesday,
You’re so much better to me than Monday ever was. I just wanted you to know that.
Love,
Kevin
After that, I just kept posting these little love notes. Sometimes, I’d forget to post on the day, so I’d catch up the next day. That occasionally made things a bit confusing for me (as far as keeping track goes, anyway), but I stayed with it.
Over the last couple of days, I went through all the blog entries, copied the posts, and pasted them into a Word document. I may or may not do something with the results; for the moment, I plan to go through the document a couple of times to get a better feel for what I have, to see if it is something I can work with.
And, of course, I will continue with the project.
(19 October 2014)
I have LOVED this project. Please don’t stop! I am intrigued that you have something to say every day. It’s great
Thanks! Yes, I do plan to continue.
