This poem was part of my 365 Project back in 2009–2010. I don’t seem to have written it down or saved it anywhere else, so it wasn’t until a week or so ago, when I was looking for stuff to upload to CafePress as possible t-shirt or mug designs that I re-discovered it…
In case it’s hard to read (especially if you’re reading this on a mobile device), it goes like this:
I had a dream.
I think it was last night
—or perhaps the other night.
I almost had the answer.
Or was it just an answer?
I woke up before I found out.
Or maybe I just forgot.
But I was so sure
I knew what it was.
Dreams are stupid that way.
Wait—
what was the question again?
