I should be drinking coffee to wake up, not to get warm.

My Day 6 poem is my response to the NaPoWriMo.net prompt, which is to use a short line from a favorite book as the title of a poem, write a poem based on that title, and then replace the title with something completely different. I started out with a line from the 2006 translation of Meditations, by Marcus Aurelius:
‘…there are two reasons why you should be content with your experience.’
Dear Monday,
This is spring, right?

My Day 5 poem is my response to the NaPoWriMo.net prompt, which is to write a poem that has the same shape as another poem. I chose Vasilina Orlova’s poem ‘Pet’. from her book Holy Robots. (You can view the poem by clicking on the book cover thumbnail, then entering the title in the search field provided.)
Dear Sunday,
All clear so far.

My Day 3 poem is my response to the NaPoWriMo.net prompt, which is to create a Personal Universal Deck (details in the linked post) and then use it to write a poem. My poem is based on these words: ambivalence, petrichor, tumble (I also drew ‘shout’ and ‘dance’, but they didn’t fit the shape the poem was taking).
Dear Friday,
You didn’t tell me the Motaur liked ‘Karma Chameleon’…
