Crushing well (a poem)

Something lighter after my previous entry…

You look kind of like that actress
who was in that movie that came out
oh, last year some time—
I didn’t actually see it
but I remember the trailer from TV—
you’ve got her eyes (or maybe she has yours)

Maybe that’s why I kind of feel
like I know you or something—
I know, it’s really just me projecting
and you could be completely different
from how I imagine—
but the eyes don’t lie, you know?

Even if they do
I can always use my imagination…
