The capitalist is disenchanted with the proletariat for talking about the good old days (a poem)

A conflation of two dramatically unrelated subjects.

The undisputed king of noise
has begun to separate
oil leaking from the opened envelope

The material refuses to melt
and must be extracted with caution
from the flotsam clinging to the material

The oil rises to the surface
lending an unhealthy sheen
to the unmixed shōyu

The meat of the action
is an uncomfortable reality rendered chondritic
spit it out before the poison spreads

The truth is that heroes are always ashamed
of what they used to do
