doesn’t mean so much
when you know nothing
nothing more than anyone else
nothing at all

and what can they tell you
when they know less than you?

none of it makes much sense
which is what I keep saying

it doesn’t matter
whether it’s singular or plural

when we’re all going
to end up in the same place
as everyone else
to ever walk the earth

how is this supposed to matter?
