My entry for today…

I don’t float
I hover
just enough
so that
I don’t touch
the ground
but not so far
that the crash
will hurt me

I really wouldn’t mind flying, if it weren’t for the enclosed space
or if I thought the clouds might catch me

But I know that airplane has got to come back to earth
one way or another
