Inspired by a Twitter hashtag this morning…

I want to love you unconditionally
but I’m afraid of the conditions
my fears may impose

I want to explain to you why you’re perfect for me
then tell you why
I’ll never be good enough for you

I wish you could read my mind
so I’d never be able to hide
what I’m feeling for you

I want you to know
that you don’t have to build me up
but I could fall apart without you

I know I’m not as weak as I feel
I’m possibly stronger than I’ll admit
Love makes the difference

I can’t always tell you how I feel
though I always hope you know
It won’t be changing any time soon…
