This piece was also my contribution to the Mind/Body 3 compilation CD; it appeared on the ‘Mind’ disc. I wasn’t really sure whether or not ‘No escape from time’ qualified as industrial music (important because the compilation originated with the rec.music.industrial Usenet group), but I submitted it anyway. Or, rather, I submitted this version—the original was about half the length.

A vote was taken to determine which of the pieces submitted would be included in the compilation; my piece just made the cut. Oddly enough, although this meant my piece had the lowest number of votes among those on the disc, I had the longest track. I felt kind of weird about that for quite a while, but nobody else seemed to mind.

Either way, I was happy to be included.
