Dear Sunday,
You’re looking a bit bright this morning. Are we in for some sun?

As we head into the final month of this dumpster fire of a year—all feast or famine, with bouts of depression, more car problems, having to rebuild my website, and general disgust with the state of the world—I need to step back for a moment and reflect on the things I was able to accomplish.
Here we go:
Dear Thursday,
At this point, I shouldn’t have to ask—you know what to do…

Dear Wednesday,

Dear Sunday,
Time to consider contingency plans?

I originally wrote and posted this in 2016—after the election, but before we’d had a chance to see exactly how horrible the current administration would be. Here is the finished version included in This Is Not the Book That Will Save Your Life. (Note that the ‘six ghosts’ reference below is intentional. Although Scrooged is a re-telling of A Christmas Carol, the ghosts are unique enough that it did not feel right to consolidate them into just the three original ghosts.)
