National Poetry Writing Month 2019 Day #7 (pt. 1)

Here I use the prompt provided by poet (and bookstore owner) Chris Jarmick on his blog, POETRYisEVERYTHING.

The task for Day 7 is to write two septolets—one formal (16 syllables in seven lines, 1–2–3–4–3–2–1), one informal (14 words in seven lines, with no more than three words in a line).

could be
an awkward

so waiting
I will

But I’m thinking
it will be
all right

I just
think too much

  1. Yes! It’s a good form to play around with and know about it when certain words are sent to you. Mastering it is quite difficult of course. NaPoWriMo ON!!!!
