National Poetry Writing Month 2019 Day #2 (pt. 2)

Here I use the napowrimo.net prompt: to write a poem that ends with a question.

To worry about the current
is to drift, rudderless
without fathoming the depths
after having suggested the ocean cruise
instead of the train trip across America

Would you at least have paid for a sleeper?
