Corporate meetings are so pointless.

That doesn’t upset me
because anymore you’ve got to interrupt
if you’re going to get a word in edgewise

or between the words
coming at you from the opposite direction

If you’re lucky
they’ll cancel each other out
and the universe will remain intact

because what they represent
is so often pointless
their mutual assured destruction

is a dust mite riding the particle
