My irrational hatred of the ampersand taken to a logical conclusion.

S& & slippery slopes
are everywhere now

The form has become literary &rogyny
& discomfort
in 42 lines & change

& those whose h&s
put words to page & screen
are making a st&

& having an impact

Art & text in t&em
are nothing new

but the poets on the gr&st&
aren’t speaking in pictures

Neither is it the sound of music
though there is often a music st& present

& the properties of cadence & rhythm
are on full display

Occurrences of the ampers&
are in full dress as the words they replace
